Everything Under The Sun

"Presenter Molly Oldfield is very good on facts and that’s partly because of her other, original job as one of the QI Elves, coming up with interesting factoids for Stephen Fry and co for QI.
"She’s been an author and written a number of books both for adults and children and she has this brilliant podcast where children send in their questions and she finds experts to answer them.
"The questions are sometimes ones we stop asking as we get older because they seem silly or something we should know, things like 'why do butterflies have patterns on their wings?', 'why do we make art?' and 'how do babies learn to talk?' All very good questions that have been sent in to Molly and her crew."
Science Weekly

"In my day job I help to run a children's radio station called Fun Kids, which is why I really love kids podcasts. Science Weekly is a podcast we make at our radio station.
"The podcast has been going for a couple of years now and it's just grown and grown. We have an excellent presenter called Dan who is interested in all things of the world and outside of the world so he loves finding out about the topics.
"As well as asking kids to write in with questions they want answers to, there are short-form mini series within the podcast. One mini series called Deep Space High is about a school set in space."
Storynory

"Storynory is a really great, unique story podcast from the UK that's been around since 2005, which is almost the start of podcasting.
"It's created by an ex-journalist, Hugh Fraser, who worked for the BBC World Service and the Financial Times and the stories are either individual stories or sometimes runs of series.
"There has always been story shows within the kids sector but a lot of them are American and I think it's important for kids to hear their own voices and voices of people like them, living in their environment and their country."
