Hayley says: "It explores the unspoken bit of parenthood where you love your kids but also want to murder them so you can sleep"
"I really liked this. It’s in the same vein as Catastrophe and Motherland, but focusing more on the unveiled madness of parenthood. Everything about it felt like a lived experience and real. There is the evil stuff – you start thinking about school catchment areas and what you’ll do to get into them. There’s the rage at your partner over the fact that they’re getting more sleep than you, the endless comparing yourself to other people and wondering where your life has gone.
"One aspect I particularly loved was worrying that normal childhood accidents will look terrible to judgmental A&E nurses! There is all this mad stuff about parenthood that you see from the outside… I think they’ve written a great thing. It’s really well observed.

"It’s a definite Must Watch for me."

Scott says: "If you don’t know anyone with kids I don’t think it would be that funny"
"It is well observed. I think it was one of those things that will only really resonate the closer you are to having children.
"I found the references funny as I have a niece and two nephews and it’s a lot of the anecdotes that I hear from my sisters about helping them grow up and all the stuff they get into.
"It’s one of those sitcoms that the more you watch it the more your brain goes 'oh, that’s happened' and then the more you laugh.
"For me if you hold it as a general comedy and you don’t know anyone with kids I don’t think it would be that funny. It really is dependent on how connected you are to the issue at hand."
