Scott says: "As a New Year's Day treat, this is worth a watch"

"They're doing the entire series in four days, one after the other.

"Luther isn't the most believable programme - there's a shootout at a swimming pool, there's possible bomb events, there's a kidnapping.

"When you stop thinking about it being a true representation of London, you enjoy it a lot more. It's a dramatic, sideways thriller.

"There is a scene where a character goes onto a bus, and it's shot near where I live, and the bus isn't the bus that goes down that route! And it takes you out of the drama.

"I don't know why they've decided to put this out over four days, but as a New Year's Day treat, this is worth a watch.

"It's got a real character and flare to it and it is quite different to anything else out there.

"You've got to make the most of it, because you don't know if this is going to be the last series."

Hayley says: "It's got murder in it... it's got a jar of eye balls in it"

"This is the first time we've seen Luther since 2015 and we've got four more episodes after New Year's Day.

"It's got murder in it, it's got Luther in it, it's got a jar of eye balls in it.

"I've never completely loved Luther - it's always been good, it's never been brilliant.

"With Luther, his job is his whole life and this is nothing new to us - but there seems to be a love for Idris Elba."
