Succession S3: What the Must Watch reviewers think
Every week, the Must Watch podcasters review the biggest TV and streaming shows.
This week Scott Bryan and Hayley Campbell review season 3 of Succession on Sky Atlantic, Sky on Demand and NOW. The US comedy drama about a family owned media conglomerate picks up with the Roy family reeling from the events of season two’s finale.
Hayley says: "The same snake pit civil war we know and love"

Hayley says: "The same snake pit civil war we know and love"
"You have to go back and re-watch the first two seasons because even if you think you remember what happened you probably don’t. You forget where everyone is because allegiances move all the time. It’s like getting halfway through a game of chess then leaving it for two years and then trying to play the rest of it in your mind without seeing the board.
"Only a genius could do that and I don’t think we’re geniuses. If you already love the show you’ll love the new season: it's the same snake pit civil war we know and love. If you haven't yet given it a go, it’s all waiting there for you."

Scott says: "Really feels to be hitting its stride"
"I absolutely adore Succession. It is one of the best shows on television in years. It manages to build and build and build. Rarely do you get a show that in season three, really feels to be hitting its stride, but that’s exactly what this show is doing.
"It is brilliantly written, but it also feels incredibly realistic. The attention to detail, from the newspapers they read to the news stories they see on the television, make you think that it is happening in the real world. You get immersed in it. Plus there’s a satisfaction in watching and realising that billionaires aren’t any smarter than the rest of us."
