This Is My House: What the Must Watch reviewers think
Every week, the Must Watch podcasters review the biggest TV and streaming shows.
This week Hayley Campbell and Scott Bryan share their thoughts on BBC One game show ‘This Is My House.’ Stacey Dooley challenges celebrity sleuths including Emily Atack, Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, Judi Love, Robert Rinder, Bill Bailey and Jamali Maddix to work out a home’s real owner.

Scott says: “The Masked Singer, but for housing”
“This show is somehow great and terrible at exactly the same time. It's essentially The Masked Singer, but for housing. The joy is not just trying to work out who is the real owner of the property, it's hearing all the improvised lies the others make up in a panic to convince us that they are the owner.
"A number of obstacles are thrown at them, such as 'this is your husband, act if you are married.' It's made weirder by the fact that they cannot respond to all of the lies, so they usually look uncomfortable from the whole affair.
“The best bit is that the prize for the person who owns the house is only one thousand pounds! That’s a lot of humiliation on prime time BBC One for just a thousand pound prize!”

Hayley says: “This will wind up being very addictive”
"This is one of those shows I was annoyed I had to watch. With reality TV shows and competition shows, my natural reaction is 'I won’t like this!' and it's rare that I am won round.
“But! I can already tell this will wind up being very addictive because it’s just people telling lies at you, and you have to be a detective to work out what’s going on. Like Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen urged the rest of the judges, I like to "follow the science’’ to figure out who these people are.
I have a pathetic belief that I would make a great detective, so this is a test of my abilities. Llewellyn-Bowen was the one person who picked the right Fern (so did I) and no one listened to him (us). He (we) loved it. Watch the show, follow the science."
