Crazy Delicious: What the Must Watch reviewers think
Every week, the Must Watch podcasters review the biggest TV and streaming shows alongside 5 Live presenter Nihal Arthanayake.
This week, Hayley Campbell and Scott Bryan shared their thoughts on Crazy Delicious – Channel 4's new cooking contest featuring an edible set.
It’s presented by comedian Jayde Adams and the judges, or ‘Gods of Food’ as they are known, are Heston Blumenthal, Niklas Ekstedt and Carla Hall.
Episode one is on Channel 4 on Tuesday 21 January at 20:00 GMT and then catch up on All 4.

Hayley says: "When have I ever said a cooking show is a Must Watch?"
“I was excited about watching this, because I like Jayde - she is properly funny.
"I think she was wasted a bit. It’s not a Must Watch for me.
"But then when have I ever said that about a cooking show?
"I liked Bake Off with the Derry Girls but that’s about it.”

Scott says: “It’s very format heavy and they have to explain a lot”
"They went to extreme lengths to try to make this 'edible' studio as edible as it could be. I was looking at it thinking, how is it so expensive?
"Then I went ‘oh yes, Netflix partnership’. Channel 4 is showing it here, Netflix is showing it worldwide, so that’s where the money comes from.
"It’s very format heavy and they have to explain a lot. There’s this whole idea about the ‘food gods’ and the 'critics from above' and there’s so much about the format that there’s not necessarily space for the rest of the show to breathe and be natural.
"But once you get past that, it’s just a general cooking show. I like the idea that there has to be a balance between the food tasting nice and looking nice, because of course there’s this whole thing on Instagram and on the internet – where you have no idea whether things that look really good also have the taste. Do I want to have that as a whole format for a TV show that I’ll actively follow? No.
"It’s not a Must Watch for me – yet. It’s hard when you’re starting a new formula from scratch. It’s too easy to just cast it off. There were a lot of first show nerves. Let it rest and it might take off."
