Philip Solomon

Philip Solomon was born into spiritualism. His father and mother both being very good mediums.

"I suppose you could say I got my abilities from my parents.

"I've been described as being one of the best mediums in the world, but I don’t know if that’s true. But I think my mother probably was. She was a very great medium.

"From when I was a little boy I would see people that other people couldn’t see. I remember having a conversation with a very nice lady who was very kind to me and easy to talk too. In later years my mother explained to me that the women I was describing was a perfect example of my Great Grandmother.

"I’ve always been aware of the spirit world, my abilities as a medium is a tool for the spirit world. I see my role as proving that life goes on forever," explains Philip Solomon.

Ghosts and Hauntings …

Philip Solomon leads many talks, workshops and lectures about ghost and hauntings making people more aware of the paranormal.

"People can set a few simple tests to see if they have a ghost or if there is something paranormal going on in their home.

But one of the most important things that I must stress, is the difference between a spirit and a ghost. They certainly are different things."

The difference between spirits and ghosts...

" A spirit is a continuation of your soul that goes on forever.

"But a ghost is just something that has happened in the past and replays back in the ether. They are the emotional memories of ordinary human being who has died unexpectedly or tragically and are not aware they have died.

"A part of their personality carries on in the surroundings where they lived or died repeating their last actions over and over again. Like a tape recorded message if you like.

Ghost and hauntings are very different to spirits"

I don’t believe in ghosts …

Ghost
Do you believe in ghosts?

Many people refuse to believe in ghosts or the spiritual world. Much of Philip's work revolves around proving that death is not the end.

"I have no problem when people say they don’t believe in ghost. I think you should be open minded and challenging to these things. I’m also a para-phycologists and I investigate these things very carefully.

"For every case that I have to prove to be a real haunting or ghost, out of 100, 99 would go in the crank/prank file or there would be an explanation for it. But there is always one that you just can’t explain.

"Too many people over the centuries have seen ghosts. Prime ministers, presidents, people that you would trust and respect have all seen ghosts. They have nothing to gain from from telling their stories. You can’t deny. I promise you, they’re out there."

Haunted Black Country …

A haunted Dudley Castle

Philip has written several books and made several videos which have sold worldwide about ghosts and haunting.

Titles include: 'Ghost of the Midlands and How to Detect Them', 'Ghosts and Phantoms of Central England' and 'Beyond Death' co-written with Professor Hans Holzer, the worlds leading authority on the paranormal.

"Everyone says that all the ghosts are in London or in York. I would say that the Black Country and Shropshire have the most haunted places in the country. Bridgenorth in the Black Country is probably one of the most haunted villages or towns in the UK."

Loved ones will always go on …

"I'm almost semi-retired now. But a medium can never permanently retire there will always be people that need my help and need to be shown that their loved ones go on. I believe that’s what I’m in this world to do.

"The truth of the existence of the after life is a fact that no-one can deny. People like me, very good mediums, can prove it to be the truth."
