I too have captured orbs in my photography - especially since the death of my mother. When alive, she was extremely close to one of my children and orbs typically appear more frequently in photos I take of him. Although I would like to believe that orbs are spirit energy, I am still a bit skeptical because sometimes, when I am watching TV at night with my spectacles on, I can see orbs through/on the lenses of my spectacles. When I take my spectacles off, .... no orbs. I am convinced that these particular orbs, (that look exactly like the orbs in my photos), are caused by dust or blemishes on the lenses of my spectacles.Anyone else experience the same?

when i was 5years old and this is nearly 40 years ago I jumped out of my bed and hopped into my parents bed, my mother put me in the middle, and as i was laying down i saw a ball of white light on the ceiling. I remembered thinking it was a reflection from a mirror but all of a sudden it started moving from corner to corner around the bedroom ceiling, i laid back down watching it thinking would nt it be good if it looked like a horse and then the round light shape went into a figure of a galloping horse.i was slightly confused how this was happening, but it did not worry me, and then i was thinking wouldn't it be good if it had a cowboy rider on the horses back and just as i thought of it a cowboy shape emerged on the galloping horse,i still did not feel worried but was not sure what was going on, so as i was trying to wake my mother to show her, it had left the room. Then i knew this was not normal.So i think orbs have been around for a long time and are very intelligent.

Hi I am also an artist , I deal with environmental concerns creating painting out of natural pigment. A couple of days before Christmas this year I discovered orbs in photo's taken at a very harmonious special place to me. So fascinated I returned to this place on New years day and captured more of them using two different camera's. I then visited my mother who lives close to this place, showed her the photo's and then took some at her house. There were loads of orbs on the photographs. We then went wild using 5 or six different camera's at different times and places. Being a little skeptical I visited my photography tutor who tried to imply it was lens glare, I proved him wrong in that the orbs were shown in so many different situations and some images had one orb others had multiples of them. Still skeptical he claimed it was dust or dew on the lens etc, I also disproved this because the photos were taken as though a narrative of the orb's journey. Any way I visited my parents again a couple of days ago and as I was leaving at about 5pm I saw a flash like a meteor storm fly past me as I was sat waiting in the car for my husband. Next a scream, It was my mothers excitement at capturing on film hundreds of thousands of these orbs all over the place land and air. Next my daughter who was staying away over night returned to tell me she had caught orbs in motion, moving fast. WOW, But the icing on the cake is this one... Again visiting my parents tonight My mother was showing off her new camera She took a series of photo's of me sat on her sofa. At one point she looked at me shocked, and said I had disappeared off the photo, disbelieving this I had to take a look and I was no where to be seen. Next both she and my husband took a photo of me and I was in his but not hers. When looking at the images on the computer there is one photo that looks like I am disappearing and one without me in it at all. The thing is my husbands photo of me was taken at 2.45pm and my mothers at 3.48pm. Well we knew the photo's were taken at the very same time we couldn't understand it until we looked at the time on both cameras My mother had not set her clock on her new camera and it was exactly one hour and three minuets late. I plan to incorporate the wonderful energy felt from these orbs within my art also.

Hello all ,,yes orbs are real spirits ,,i catch them all the time in my home ,,i dont fear them ,, i get comfort in knowing my loved 1,s are watching over me .They are silver & white , large & small ,ive also got moving orbs caught on video.So please dont think we are alone ,when its our time to go , part of us remains which i think its great .It gives me a great understanding of the afterlife ,& it gives me peace of mind that 1 day we will all be reunited.

I am intrigued by the photos, been looking at a lot on the internet but wonder if you do see them with the naked eye Amanda? Assuming you don't rely on photos? Do you think they are very specific to you?I have recently found orbs on photos taken in a nearby wood in Ireland, in daylight (with digital camera). I am pleased to hear that they appear with non-digital equipment too.I don't think the dust/pollen/rain theory entirely holds up, there are too many variables.Interesting times!!

This morning, at around 6.45am, my partner Janet had just opened the bedroom door,onto the first floor passageway, and was reaching for the light switch and two very bright orbs, one green and one yellow came towards her, passing within inches of her face and vanished into the end wall where, in medieval times, a doorway may have existed. This is far from unusual here. Our home is securely dated to the early 1300s and Janet does not need any technology to experience psychic phenomena of this kind. very interesting. personally i believe that those orbs are conscious of both living and passed.Not making any sense, am I? sorry. well when you O.B ( astral projection) you take that form. ( and it is quite fun to go different places!!) amanda, have you ever thought of trying curlien (sorry) potography it allows you to get a picture of the different auras. you can actually train your eyes to see them :) yep they are vibrations. Mrs.Garcia; they actually cam communicate with you. The problem is that you have to be at their 'vibration' .some who really want to commmunicate with you will attach themselves to your aura. this sometimes makes it easier to speak. From my 20 odd years of research into various types of subtle energies I have come to believe the orbs and their counter parts vortices are an energy form little known to science. Prof. Charles Tart of UCLA suggests they interact with EM fields but does not know what this energy is.There are in fact literaly millions of photos of orbs and vortices taken each year by many people. However, they are not recognized as such and most are dismissed as problems with lenses, cameras, dust, the list is long. I have found that if anyone looks through their box of old (and new) photos they will find at least one or two showing these phenomena. There are people who claim to communicate with these energies, the problem, as always is they cannot prove by any accepted scientific means. What we do know is that there have been no recorded reports of anyone coming to harm in any way by these energies. I would love to know how Nancy Garcia came to the conclusion they are either Demons or Angels. Quoting the bible is hardly scientific evidence and much of it is based on superstition anyway.There are a number of systems that appear to reveal various forms of subtle energies in fine detail but as they are still in their early stages of development they have not been accepted by mainstream science yet, however, it is likely they will quite soon

Ok so i was taking pictures with my 2 friends and, we saw a lot of orbs and there is this one picture and there is a blue circular/oval thing near her head and we want to know do they follow you everywhere?

After some research I have concluded that these "Balls of Light" can be either one of two things: Demons or Angels, since the Bible only speaks of two types of spiritual entitities I would venture to say that though they are quite beautiful (like the ones I captured on camera in front of a church)They could be demonic, as the Bible says that Satan himself can masqurade as an "Angel Of Light": Since these orbs dont talk and tell us what they are, I would advise careful observation at a distance; I still would like to post the pictures on this site but dont know how...

just a question to Nicky... if orbs are just dust how then do I get it to change colour and land on things time after time? I have been keeping an orb diary of my experiments for two years now and never fail to get some interaction. It must be some very inteligent dust.....

Hi Amanda , yes , your orbs are just vibrations. Vibrations are part of the Paramchaitania, and nothing to worry about. I have seen many photographs like this. You must have some good " vibes" around you. !!! They're amazing to see !

This is just dust and moisture particles you bunch of buffoons!!! I find it interesting that this psychic lady claims to have managed to work up such an affinity with what only amounts to **** floating around in the air.... sort of mirrors the utter rubbish that she is spouting about this subject!!! Even 'Most Haunted' - one of the main advocates of the orb as ghostly phenomenon originally - has now decided that this is noting but a camera effect.... Grow up you bunch of idiots!!!

If they are visiting you they are popping around me also. I have been getting hundreds of them since march.they are overlaping in my photos. Anyone that tries to get them can only get them with me there.I have used all kinds of cameras with the same results

I recently attended a special service at our local Convent and photographed the Chapel after the service and to my amazement on viewing the results sure enough there they are the balls of light , about ten of them. I have tried it in some other Churches without any results except for one other. So it proves one thing, where they happen is special.

Wow! I'm thrilled to see your orb pics! I've had the same thing happen, though not often. The first time it happened, I searched the internet, as I was not familiar with orbs til someone told me what they were (after I shared my photos). Mine had streams of orbs too, which I haven't seen on the internet. Thanks for sharing those! I am also an artist.

I have a few of these and only just started investigating. I have noticed that the brightest and most colourful are the ones taken around our grandchildren.

Superb. I recently returned from a family holiday in Ireland and had loads of orbs on my photo's (they seem to like my family and having fun). I then started looking at my other old photos and found them on lots of them. People say it's digital and flash photography that cause it but I've found some on old 35mm film, lots over an old Mexican Church and a coloured comet type one near Alcatraz, and in daylight. People think I've gone mad but they can't deny there are faces in a lot of them. I wish someone would figure out what they are and if they mean anything because there is one large one next to me in an old Castle which is bothering me. When you zoom in there is the face of a little girl. Does anyone have any answers?????

i was with amanda when she first photgraphed these orbs so i know what she has been through and since day one the obs have got stronger and stronger and as she says " they are drawn to her paintings" i believe this is all real and i hope her artistic mind takes her far in life :) xxx

without giving you an over inflated ego i do feel that their has to be something special about you or lets say something others do not appear to have, would i be correct in saying that you are far seeing, have a very strong sensitive side, and perhaps have a feeling that this isnt the first time you have been here,do you ever feel that due to this forces which we have little knowledge of find it easy to contact you as somehow you are and always have been even as a child receptive and aware of a slight difference in your feelings.I have had numerous unusual things happen to me and my mother must have seen this as she took me to a doctors because i was different from my brother and sisters,I have been sucessful generally in life and my perceptions have usually been spot on,I certainly am very pleased with how a powerful force possibly from above has helped me through life,Iam not particularly religous but know 100% there is this force which has been of huge help.Dont ask me how it works,but i do know what you give out you most certanly get back, I THEREFORE TRY TO PLAY THE GAME.If I dont then the help would dry up,I would not preach to others, its only the way things have gone for me.would I be correct in saying you are in the same frame of mind? best wishes james
