This clip could be used to illustrate the inequalities among African Americans in the USA. To reinforce the messages within the clip, ask students to explain the terms ‘White Flight’ and ‘Black Flight’ and then discuss similarities and differences between them. There could also be group discussion on whether a class system exists within the USA.
