Transcript:Oui, les copains sont très importants pour moi, parce que j’adore passer le temps avec eux. Je suis très sportive et je ne peux pas faire du sport avec ma famille car mon frère et ma soeur n’aiment pas ça. Par contre, j’aime beaucoup aller en vacances avec ma famille parce que mes parents paient tout.

Yes, for me friends are very important because I love spending time with them. I’m very sporty and I can’t do sport with my family because my brother and my sister do not like it. However, I really like going on holiday with my family because my parents pay for everything.

Transcript:La semaine dernière, je suis allée au cinéma avec mes amis parce que c’était mon anniversaire. Nous avons regardé un film d’action qui était excellent. Cependant, j’ai mangé trop de popcorn et j’étais malade!

Last week, I went to the cinema with my friends because it was my birthday. We watched an action film that was excellent. However, I ate too much popcorn and I was ill!

Transcript:Pour moi, une bonne copine doit être gentille, drôle et bavarde, car j’adore parler et rire avec mes amies! D’un autre côté, je n’aime pas les gens qui sont égoïstes parce que moi, je suis vraiment généreuse et je pense que ça c’est important.

For me, a good friend is kind, funny and chatty because I love talking and laughing with my friends! On the other hand, I don’t like people who are selfish because I am really generous, and I think that that is important.

Transcript:J’espère que oui, mais je ne suis pas sûre. Par example, maintenant ma mère a beaucoup de nouvelle copines et elle ne voit plus ses anciennes camarades de classe. Par contre, mon grand-père a un copain qu’il connaît depuis cinquante ans, alors c’est bien possible de garder ses amies. Je pense que quand j’aurai soixante ans, j’aurai aussi la même meilleure amie que j’ai maintenant.

I hope so, yes, but I am not sure. For example, my mother now has lots of new friends and she no longer sees her old classmates. However, my grandfather has a friend that he has known for 50 years, so it is possible. I think that when I am 60, I will have the same best friend as I do now.

Transcript:Samedi prochain, c'est le seizième anniversaire de ma meilleure amie. Dans mon groupe d'amis, nous allons toujours au restaurant pour déjeuner ou dîner quand c'est l'anniversaire de quelqu'un. Nous allons déjeuner dans son restaurant préféré à Holywood, puis nous prendrons le train pour aller à la plage d'Helen's Bay car la météo est bonne pour ce jour-là. On va rigoler ensemble et j’espère que samedi sera amusant aussi. Je pense qu'il est important de fêter les anniversaires - surtout pendant notre adolescence, car lorsque nous quitterons l'école, nous irons probablement dans de différentes universités et je doute que nous soyons aussi proches.

Next Saturday, it is my best friend's 16th birthday. Within my group of friends, we always go for lunch or dinner to a restaurant when it's somebody's birthday. We are going to have lunch at her favourite restaurant in Hollywood, afterwards we will take the train to go to Helen's Bay beach as the weather forecast looks good that day. We will laugh together and I hope Saturday will be fun too. I think it's important to celebrate birthdays - specially during our teenage years, because when we leave school, we will probably go to different universities and I doubt that we will be this close.
