Gap year ambitions
Listen to the following interview with a French student who wants to take a gap year, then try to answer the questions below.
As a follow up activity you could use some of the vocabulary and sentence construction featured to answer the questions for yourself.
Est-ce que tu aimerais prendre une année sabbatique?
Oui, je rêve de voyager un peu autour du monde. Si possible, j’aimerais faire du travail bénévole lié à l’environnement dans un pays sous développé. J’aime bien les animaux et il y a beaucoup de projets intéressants pour les protéger. Par exemple aider les espèces en voie d’extinction en Afrique.

Would you like to take a gap year?
Yes, I’m dreaming of travelling a little around the world. If possible I’d like to do some environmental volunteer work in a developing country. I really like animals and there are lots of interesting projects to protect them. For example, helping endangered species in Africa.
