Area of trapeziums
The area of a A quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides. can be calculated using the formula:
\(\text{area of a trapezium} = \frac{1}{2}(a + b) \times h\)
Example
Calculate the area of the trapezium:
area = \(\frac{1}{2}(4 + 10) \times 5 = 35~\text{cm}^2\)
