An exam is designed to find out how much you understand about a subject. There are some key techniques that you can learn to help you do as well as possible for each type of exam question.
Mark the right answer if you see this in the list of multiple choice options.
If the answer you thought of is not there, start the process of elimination – which ones are definitely not right? You will then be left with just a couple of options and will need to select the one that you think is most likely to be correct.
If you cannot answer the question in around a minute or under, put a circle around the question number and come back to it later.
If you have time at the end, go back to the circled questions and try to work out the right answer – if you don't have time, just tick one of the responses.
Never leave a multiple choice question unanswered – a lucky guess may get you a mark!
