Quality inputs offer the best opportunity for the production of quality goods

This aims to ensure that the quality of raw materials (or components) being used in the production process is of the standard required by the organisation. It follows a similar idea to the computing principle of GIGO:

\(\text{Garbage In}\rightarrow\text{Garbage Out}\)

This means that if good materials are used from the start, then the final product should be of a good standard also.

As well as materials, quality inputs can rely on employees being trained to check and judge the quality of raw materials or other supplies.
