This is only a sample answer. A variety of verb structures and vocabulary could be used.

Myself and my friends visited your restaurant on Saturday night. It was my friend’s birthday and there were fifteen of us altogether. I booked a table in advance but when we reached the restaurant, the table was not ready and we had to wait for half an hour. In the end, we got a table and the waiter was very helpful. His name was Sam. However, then the food arrived.

I ordered spaghetti and it was cold. Cathal had steak and potatoes and the steak was raw. Another friend thought that the pizza was disgusting and hard. No one was happy with the meal and on top of that it was very expensive. I don’t mind an expensive meal if it is tasty but the opposite was true about this meal.
