Stakeholders
A stakeholder is anyone who is affected by a business or has an interest or To have an effect on something on how a business operates.
Stakeholders can be internal or external.
Internal stakeholders work directly within the business:
- owners
- employees
- managers
External stakeholders work outside the business:
- customers
- banks
- local community groups
- support agencies such as A service provided by the Scottish government that aims to give advice and assistance to people starting or growing a business and A charity that offers training, mentoring, funding and resources to entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-30
- government
- suppliers
Both internal and external stakeholders can have an influence on the success of a business.
