Il y a deux ans, mon père a été victime d’un vol d’identité en ligne. C’était terrible. Ils ont volé ses informations personnelles, comme son nom, son adresse, sa date de naissance et le numéro de sa carte de crédit. Ils ont pris de l’argent dans son compte bancaire et ils ont fait des achats en ligne avec sa carte. Ils ont dépensé environ 1 000€.
Heureusement, la police a arrêté les fraudeurs et il a récupéré l’argent de son compte. À l’avenir, pour éviter le vol d’identité, il va changer ses mots de passe et il sera plus prudent quand il achètera quelque chose en ligne.

Two years ago, my dad was a victim of identity theft. It was terrible. They stole his personal information like his name, his address, his date of birth and his credit card number. They took money from his bank account and made purchases online with his card. They spent about €1,000.
Luckily the police arrested the fraudsters and he got the money back from his account. In the future, in order to avoid identity theft, he is going to change his passwords and he will be more careful when buying something online.
