Creation
The Apostles' CreedA Christian creed based on the teaching of the Apostles. It had been written by the 4th century AD., the most widely used declaration of Christian belief, begins with the words: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
This statement shows the importance of the Christian belief that God created the world. Most Christians believe that the world is evidence that God exists. St Paul explains this in the Bible:
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.
