  • how much belief you have in your own abilities
  • the impact this belief can have on your performance

Amongst other impacts, confidence mainly determines:

  • amount of risks taken: Do you try more complex skills? Do you play safely?
  • carrying out skills and movements with convinction: Do you fully commit to a decision once you've made it? Do you hesitate during the point of action?
