Changing Christmas traditions

Est-ce que tu penses que Noël est toujours une fête traditionnelle ou est-ce qu’elle a changé?
Ça dépend. Ma famille achète toujours un vrai sapin mais beaucoup de gens ont un sapin artificiel maintenant parce que c’est plus pratique! En Grande Bretagne, le 26 décembre est un jour férié, et il y a maintenant souvent de très bons soldes et les gens aiment bien faire du shopping plutôt que de passer du temps en famille.

She says lots of people have an artifical tree. In the UK there are good sales on the 26 December, people prefer to shop rather than spend time with their family.

Do you think that Christmas is still a traditional festival or has it changed?
It depends. My family still buys a Christmas tree but lots of people have an artifical tree now because it’s more practical. In the UK, 26 December is a bank holiday and there are now often very good sales and people like to go shopping rather than spend time with their family.
