Possessive adjectives tell us who something or someone belongs to
Possessive adjectives show who something or someone belongs to. They come before the noun and agree with that noun, not the subject of the sentence.

So the following would have to agree with the noun when they become possessive adjectives:
- un sac (masculine singular) → elle adore son sac - she loves his/her bag
- un sac (masculine singular) → elle adore mon sac - she loves my bag
- des amis (plural) → ce sont nos amis - they're our friends
- des amis (plural) → ce sont mes amis - they’re my friends
- une veste (feminine singular) → j'aime bien ta veste ! - I really like your jacket!
- une veste (feminine singular) → j'aime bien sa veste ! - I really like her/his jacket!
