A shooting schedule is a timetable which outlines how your film shoot is going to be broken up.

This allows you to organise your shoot more efficiently.

Shooting schedules should also include a breakdown of the scenes to be shot, whether they are interiors or exteriors, the name of each location and what action and characters will be in each scene.

Sometimes shooting schedules will also include when the sun is rising and setting that day.

Knowing when the sun sets will make it easier to schedule shots like a night time exterior.
