Birmingham Carnival brings together the whole community no matter what race to enjoy non stop music, dancing and fun, giving people a true taste of the caribbean.

Birmingham Carnival 2003

Birmingham Carnival returns on Sunday 3rd August. The free extravaganza takes place at Perry Park in a day of non-stop music, fun and dancing in spirit of the caribbean.

This year's Carnival with the theme 'Connecting communities' includes a vibrant procession led by the new Carnival Queen starts at 12.30pm from Holyhead Road, Handsworth and makes its way through Perry Barr to Perry Park.

The day ends with a fireworks display at 9pm..
