He’s spotted the opportunity, kept his nerve and slotted this one home with aplomb. We've probably lost a few Liverpool-based readers here already, haven't we?

Extreme fun and games in the illustrious West of Scotland Super League First Division this weekend, and a real test for the referee too. File this one under 'ungentlemanly conduct' perhaps. Still, he kept a clean sheet...

Technology, eh? You can’t fault this individual for: 1) generosity towards the armchair fans; 2) his camera skills; and 3) his phone’s battery life. The true magic of the FA Cup, right there.

We complain when they don’t do their job properly, don’t we? Well done Mike Jones - someone could have been badly hurt. Also a welcome reminder that Loic Remy still exists.

Wait for it... over on the left... down a bit...

Yep, that’s a guy with a bag full of lettuce. Or a luminous green jumper in a bag. Either way, it really ought to have been confiscated at the turnstile. This will go down as one of football's greatest unsolved mysteries.

No wonder Southampton were trounced 5-0. With 14 players on the pitch, it seems Arsenal had something of an unfair advantage.

Exceptional work from these young scamps - Oxford United’s cup tie with Newcastle was already won in the tunnel.

Given Liverpool’s current malaise, this tweet of consolation towards Sadio Mane looks a little insincere - their private jet was already in the air to go and fetch him. And boy do they need him...

Speaking of private jets, here’s Dimitri Payet finally confirming that he’s going 'home'. This tweet has gone down brilliantly with West Ham fans by the way.

Mark Noble can take free-kicks though, right?
