"It's good to be back in Silver Street although it doesn't look like it's changed very much. Bradys News still needs a lick of paint and just look at the park! Mind you the Jilanis have certainly moved with the times. Who would have thought it - Mushtaq Jilani from shop owner to football club owner. Still, we Mirzas are just as enteprising as the Jilanis and there is definitely a smell of money in the air.
Yes, it is good to be back with my boys. They might be grown men as far as the world is concerned but they need their mother. Chunky has let himself go a bit but I am going to sort that out now I am here. I just wish he was more 'get up and go' like his brother. Jungli knows business and he knows how to make money fast. Chunky works hard but could do with some of Jungli's ambition. Still, Chunky works hard although we should have had a chain of takeaways by now!
I miss Rashid but life has to go on. It's time to concentrate on the boys and find them some good wives - not like those modern girls who behave the way they do behind their families backs. No, I want girls who can run a home properly and take good care of my Jungli and Chunky.
Need to go shopping now - my boys have to keep their strength up if the Mirza empire is to grow. I might head to Jilani Stores. We are old family friends and now I am a returning customer we should get a good discount. Like they say 'if you don't ask, you don't get' so why waste time eh"
