Don't panic! Gaelic follows the English!

Fàilte! I am learning Scottish Gaelic from New Zealand. My Father was a proud Scot and I am just like him. I am also very interested and have done lots of research into the history of Scotland/Alba and where many Scots ended up after the battle of Culloden.

My name is Lee and I am 33 years old. The photo of myself that I have attached is of me with my two bairns, my son is the spitting image of his late but great Grandfather whom he never got to meet.

Fàilte, tha mi ag ionnsachadh na Gàidhlig ann an Sealain Nuadh. Bha m'athair na h-Albannach moiteil, agus tha mi gu math coltach ris. Tha ùidh mhòr agam agus rinn mi tòrr rannsachaidh ann an eachdraidh na h-Alba agus far an deach na h-Albannaich as dèidh bhlàir Chùl Lodair.

‘S e Lee an t-ainm a th'orm agus tha mi 33 bliadhna dh'aois. Is e seo mi fhìn agus mo dithis choinne, tha mo mhac gu math coltach ris an sean seanair, nach maireann.
