On Monday morning the rain came down causing organisers of one street party on Edward Street in Wrexham to move indoors. The decorated street was left behind and the 70 residents continued the celebration indoors. Young and old sat side-by-side to enjoy the entertainment for the historical event. ![]() Edward Street residents organised a party ![]() The party was planned months in advance ![]() The whole community joined in with the fun ![]() The party moved indoors after the rain began ![]() Greg Nicholas and his friend hailed the party a success | See also: 29 Apr 02 | Wales 14 May 02 | Wales 29 Jan 02 | Wales 03 Jun 02 | Wales Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Wales stories now: Links to more Wales stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
