The turnout for the protest exceeded the expectations of organisers, with estimates of the crowd size ranging from 30,000 to 80,000. BBC News Online Scotland compiles some of the images from the city's largest protest in more than a decade.  The Glasgow march began on Saturday morning  The march was a live issue for many people  Protesters made their way to the SECC in the bitter cold  Marchers came from as far afield as Canada  Churchmen joined people of all ages and backgrounds  The beat of the drums accompanied the march  It took marchers some time to complete the route  The speeches added to an electric atmosphere  A ring of luminous steel surrounded the conference  The SECC, where the prime minister was speaking | |
