The pipe bomb damaged the hallway of the house
Army explosives experts have defused a pipe bomb found in north Belfast.

The device was discovered at the gates of Ballysillan Park on Monday afternoon.

The security forces were called to the area and the roads were closed while the device was examined.

The pipe bomb has been taken away for further examination and the area has returned to normal.

Police have not yet said who they believe left the device.
