Cemetery targeted by vandals
Gravestones
Headstones were knocked over at the cemetery
About 50 headstones have been damaged by vandals at a cemetery and crematorium in Greater Manchester.

The grounds and the waiting room at Dukinfield Cemetery in Tameside have also been vandalised.

The vandals targeted the cemetery on Sunday night.

About 50 headstones were damaged and flowers, vases were strewn all over the grounds.

The windows in the waiting room were smashed.

Tameside Council is now working with police to catch the vandals.
