| Wednesday, 9 October, 2002, 11:12 GMT 12:12 UK Ten more sought in riot investigation ![]() More than 300 police officers were injured in the riots Police in Bradford are still trying to find ten people wanted in connection with the riots in the city in July 2001. They say they know the indentities of five of those they want to talk to following the disturbances. This follows the publication of their photographs on posters and on the internet. They include two men for whom warrants have been issued after they failed to appear at Bradford Crown Court on charges of riot.
A further five men have yet to be indentified and local peope are being asked to name them. Images of all ten men have been published by West Yorkshire Police on its website. "We will not stop until we have done all we can to catch those responsible for the disorder which brought Bradford to its knees," said Detective Inspector Tony Craven "We must remind people that these men were involved in disturbances which lasted more than eight hours, injured more than 300 police officers and caused �10m of damage. 'Stop whining' "They have been caught on camera committing serious criminal offences and need to be brought to justice." So far 281 have been arrested, 155 of those have been charged with riot. Families of those already convicted for their part in the riots have launched a campaign against the length of sentences which have been handed out at Bradford Crown Court.
