Riot suspects cannot 'remain unnamed'
Some of those police want to question about the trouble
Police want the public's help to identify people
Police officers investigating riots in Bradford in 2001 have released a new series of pictures of men they want to question.

Last year police released 120 photographs - 117 people were identified and 112 of them arrested, half of whom handed themselves in after their pictures were published.

A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the force planned to release a further 60 over the next three weeks.

The photograph campaign was launched at the end of July, three weeks after the riots in the north of Bradford on 7 July.

Since then 168 people have been arrested. Of these, 64 were charged with riot and 23 with violent disorder.

The spokeswoman said 13 people have been jailed so far.

Detective Chief Superintendent Max McLean, the senior investigating officer in charge of the UK's biggest criminal investigation, said Bradford now needed to move forward.

"This is likely to be our final appeal to the people of Bradford to name those people caught on camera committing some of the most serious public order offences.

"Together we cannot let any of these faces remain unnamed.

"We would again ask people to...make sure those involved pay the price for their destructive actions, and the irreparable damage they caused to the reputation of this city.

"We have only managed to make so many arrests for riot in this investigation through the public's support and we need that to continue."

Posters displaying the new set of photographs will be on display in police stations across West Yorkshire and in local mosques.

They will also be distributed to all ports and airports.

Two more posters featuring 20 faces will be released in the coming two weeks.
