Gary Horth, 30, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, was pronounced dead at 0735BST at Bedford Prison on Friday. Staff and paramedics worked to resuscitate him but without success. A Prison Service spokewoman said Mr Horth had been charged with supplying drugs. She said: "He was found hanging in his cell at 6.55am. "Staff attempted resuscitation and paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at 7.35am.
