| | Sunday, 3 November, 2002, 15:39 GMT In pictures: Italy quake victims funeral An emotional mass funeral has been held in the devastated Italian village of San Giuliano di Puglia for the 29 people - including 26 children - who were killed in Thursday's earthquake.
 Thousands came to watch, and mourn, at the mass funeral  The sad procession wound its way to a tent where the funeral ceremony was to be held  Distraught families walked alongside Italian rescuers and firefighters as they carried the tiny coffins  The grief was visible on many of the pallbearers faces  Mourners and relatives, some clutching photographs of their lost ones, wept as the coffins went past  While others were simply overcome by the emotion of the day | |
