The fact that it's produced by Evans explains a lot about the format of the show - the audience participation, the bar set, the gag segments etc. It reeks of TFI.

Having said that, I did enjoy the show. Moyles has Evans' ability to adapt the show to any situation while on air, and he's pretty funny too. Give it five weeks and it'll be a great ratings puller.

Give him a chance! All shows have teething problems and from what I could see it was mainly the production team's fault, not Chris's. It shows potential, I really liked the game at the end. Remember Evans on his first TFI? He seemed very nervous and uncomfortable to me. Yet at its peak TFI was superb. You really can't and shouldn't judge a show by its debut. He's as good with his 4pm radio show, but this TV show... it's a big transition for him and it really is a (very) cheap TFI. It's a nice idea but it doesn't really work in an half hour slot. Chris Moyles works well in the two and three quarter hour radio show but in 25 minutes everything seems too false and scripted. Perhaps an hour long show once a week like TFI Friday with bands in between the jokes would be better.

In short, you can't judge a show on one episode, basically it was amusing (but not as much as you would expect from the usual Moyle's high standard), and given time and it will take shape in a few weeks. Compared to the radio show, visually it is harder to pull off, so at least he had the balls to try it.

Chris is a master at making great radio. I wouldn't touch Radio 1 till I heard Moylsie, and I'm its target audience! Now I'm hooked...I'm in hysterics every afternoon. I'm a big fan of his radio show, and whilst I enjoyed the first episode, it felt a bit stilted: perhaps because they were trying to fit 45 minutes-worth of material into a 25-minute running time. I'm sure Chris will adapt quickly to TV, having a regular show, but he didn't seem as comfortable as he does on the radio. Nevertheless, I'll keep watching, and wish Chris and the team the best of luck: the show's format is a nice idea, and I hope it works.

I must comment about the guy who called in and swore. TFI was infamous for its foul language and the trouble it got into with the authorities. I suspect Chris is trying to attract the same reputation. It sounded so fake that I susspect it may have been a fix to get in the papers. Moyles clearly demonstrated nerves in show one, and who wouldn't as he and the show were bound to be compared to Evans' TFI. Show one had it's problems and Moyles at times looked uncomfortable, but show two was a considerable improvement...Moyles finding his feet, and showing far more camera confidence. I

Like it, yes it resembles characteristics of TFI, but it's fun and quirky and "push the pint" is great, even if the contestants weren't. I am sure it will develop into a little winner for Five, and besides it beats the hell out of Jack Sugden with his hand up a sheep's backside!!!

People are so quick to get on the "we hate Chris Moyles" bandwagon. I thought the first two shows were great and I fully enjoyed them. As for them being like TFI friday, so what?! TFI Friday was an excellent programme and if Chris is half as good as Mr Evans then the programme will be a success. Well done Channel Five for giving us entertaining television.

The show wasn't perfect by any means - but its early days and Chris Evans knows how to kick things that don't work into shape more than anyone. It will improve. The most annoying thing about the show is the amount of cretins it has attracted to make comment on this website.

It's ok, but would be better if he had Dave and the gang on the show with him. He struggles on the radio to be funny without them...Dave is the really comic genius on the show!

I missed Monday's programme and wished I'd not bothered trying to catch Tuesdays', it was rubbish. I did not think staring at the buttocks of the model on the front of the Daily Star yesterday was good entertainment. The format is sooo TFIF, that was axed, I can only see this show going the same way.

This was so bad I had to turn it off after two minutes. Chris Moyles is so bad and unfunny on TV and he knows it, it was cringe-worthy and embarrassing to watch. It is very worrying that the TV execs can't see just how awful this programme is! Anyone could see that from just looking at the description of it on paper.

Sorry, Chris, but let's face facts, it's a rather pointless show. Rather like an elongated intro/funny bit from an American talk-show, only wihtout the humour or the talk-show.

It is such a shame, he can be tolerable on the radio, even funny on the rare occasions he doesn't labour the point or bully his team, but it seems that his ego has got in the way. He appears to be unable to accept any form of criticism (hence his bullying) so I wonder how he will respond to the comments made by myself and other viewers unfortunate enough to catch the show.
