Model Nell McAndrew has become the fifth contestant to be voted off survival show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

After surviving 12 days in the jungle McAndrew said she was relieved to be heading back to the real world, claiming that she found the challenge boring.

The 28-year-old, who said little during her time in the Australian wilderness, added that she had kept quiet to avoid being caught up in the rows of fellow competitors.

Bookmakers now tip society girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson to win the charity challenge, with DJ Tony Blackburn close behind.

They expect viewers of the ITV1 show to vote Christine Hamilton off on Saturday night.

'Really active'

Speaking after her eviction McAndrew said: "I would have preferred it to be more physical.

"I'm a really active person, I was always looking for something to do, even if it was washing up four times a day.

"There was a lot of boredom, I was bored a lot of the time."

McAndrew, who comes from Leeds, said she found the frequent arguments - particularly the spats between Palmer-Tomkinson and Darren Day - difficult to cope with.

She said: "I didn't come here to have big rows with people, just to have a good time.

"I was shocked it got to that level. I thought it was best to stay out of it."

Cocaine

McAndrew, who had been favourite at one point, refused to be drawn on who she thought should win.

On Friday's show Palmer-Tomkinson claimed the only reason she failed to seduce Darren Day was that he was afraid of being caught on camera.

She also spoke to Hamilton about her struggle to beat cocaine addiction.

"When I stopped at the end - it was messy, the most sordid end you can have as a junkie," she said.

Her main rival for the title, Blackburn, was shown balanced above a swamp full of leeches in the latest Bushtucker Trial.

He completed the challenge and won three meals for the group.
