More than 300 fake DVDs including copies of Disney films have been seized by trading standards officers in Newport, south Wales. The seizure follows an investigation by the city council's officers into illegal trading on the internet auction site eBay.
Two computers were also recovered in the seizure at a house in Rogerstone, Newport.
A woman is to be questioned and could face charges under the Trade Marks Act.
Classic Disney flms such as Beauty and the Beast and Jungle Book were seized in Thursday's raids and found to be fakes.
A Newport city council spokesman said the trading standards section was committed to taking action on all forms of confirmed counterfeiting activity.
The raid was also in accord with the national Intellectual Property Crime Strategy launched by the Patent Office last August.
"Traders selling counterfeit goods mislead consumers into paying out money for products that are of poor quality," said the spokesman.
"The sale of fake goods adversely affects local, legitimate businesses who lose sales resulting in the cutting of existing jobs and putting future jobs at risk. We are detemined to clamp down on these illegal activities".
