Man jailed over counterfeit DVDs
A market trader has been sentenced to 16 months in prison after police raids in Wiltshire uncovered hundreds of counterfeit DVDs and CDs.

Anthony Marsh, 59, from Frome, pleaded guilty to trade mark offences at a hearing at Swindon Crown Court.

Trading Standards officers found the goods at a Market World stall in Crockerton, near Warminster, in March 2004 after complaints from the public.

Marsh's home was searched in May 2004 and copying equipment was found.

More counterfeit DVDs and printers were also found.

The court heard the street value of the items seized totalled 30,000.

Marsh also pleaded guilty to product safety offences relating to wall plaques discovered in the raids.
