Superstar - Jamelia performing to the crowd in Colwyn Bay |
The on-the-night total raised by BBC Children in Need in Wales on Friday stands at 715,884. It was raised through events across Wales, including the charity's biggest concert, in front of a 10,000 crowd in Colwyn Bay, Conwy.
The figure is expected to grow as people send in cash from fundraising events of their own.
The Colwyn Bay concert went ahead despite the stage roof collapsing in high winds late on Wednesday.
Crews worked through the night to repair it and the show received clearance to go ahead after work on a replacement section was completed late on Thursday.

Jamelia, Ronan Keating and The Feeling were the star performers at the concert in Eirias Park.
The concert was one of a series of events around Wales raising funds for Children in Need, which helped push the on-the-night figure the 27th BBC Children In Need Appeal to 18.3m.
All the tickets for the Colwyn Bay event were snapped up within days when they were made available last month.
The roof of the concert stage collapsed after three "freak" gusts of wind. No-one was injured.
