A second flat on Wrexham's Caia Park estate which was used for the supply of Class A drugs has been closed down by magistrates. It is the second time in a month that magistrates have agreed to a closure order on a "crack house" on the estate.
Last month 102 Y Wern was ordered to be closed down for three months.
This latest application to close down 108 Y Wern by police was made after evidence was gathered that it was being used to supply Class A drugs.
The property was also associated with anti-social behaviour, magistrates who granted the closure order on 15 March were told.
Disrupt lives
The flat has now been sealed off for three months and it is an offence for anyone to enter it.
"This closure order yet again demonstrates what action can be taken against those who engage in such activity and in so, disrupt the lives of others within the community," said Chief Supt Phill Thomson.
"Without a doubt, Operation Quantity was successful and as this latest court order demonstrates it continues to bear fruit."
In the first flat closure officers took action after months of gathering evidence of drugs supply at the flat during the recent Operation Quantity.
They said the activity was creating disorder and caused a serious nuisance to the local community and generating many complaints.
