Drug-driver 'had children in car'
A man has been caught driving under the influence of drugs with two young children in the back of his car.

The 30-year-old was stopped by police in Perthshire at the weekend travelling with the boys, aged three and nine.

A member of the public had reported him after becoming concerned about the way the vehicle was being driven and the safety of the youngsters.

Police have said there is still not enough recognition among motorists of the dangers of using drugs.

Ch Insp Sandy Bowman said: "Really it beggars belief that someone would take drugs and drive.

"It's bad enough just with the dangers themselves, but this person driving with his children in the car, it really does beggar belief."
