Taxi drivers in 'go slow' protest
Taxi sign
Drivers' grievances include the lack of taxi rank spaces
About 50 taxi drivers in Dundee reduced traffic in part of the city centre to a crawl on Friday afternoon when they staged a rolling protest.

The drivers protested for 20 minutes as part of their ongoing dispute with Dundee City Council.

They drove slowly between two roundabouts on part of the inner ring road, causing delays in all directions.

The drivers have complained about the actions of private hire cars and the number of cabs given licenses.

Last Saturday, night drivers staged a strike for six hours from midnight.

Negotiations with the local council have broken down.
