Taxi drivers have already staged one convoy-style protest |
Taxi drivers in Dundee are to hold rolling protests every Friday as part of their dispute with city authorities. It follows a mass meeting of about 150 drivers on Tuesday night.
Part of the trade is embroiled in a row with Dundee City Council and Tayside Police over issues including rank space and private hire firms.
Drivers also said that if no progress is made they have voted in favour of strike action to take place from 0000 GMT to 0600 GMT on Sunday, 11 November.
Representatives are to seek an informal meeting with the council to discuss a way forward.

Peter Longmuir from the Unite union, who chaired the mass meeting, said a walkout was "the last resort".
He said: "Nobody wants to strike. We don't want to affect the public, who after all, provide our livelihood."
Colleague Chris Elder said: "If they don't give us a meeting, we're going to go for strike action. We're going to haul the cars out of action.
"Hopefully the council can see sense and meet us."
Talks aimed at ending the disagreement broke down last week.
Trade representatives have demanded action over a total of 13 grievances.
However, they have been accused of passing on inaccurate information by the council and police.
The authorities have sent copies of their response to the complaints to the city's 1,750 drivers, who have been asked to "make up their own minds" about the row.
More than 50 drivers have already staged a convoy-style protest in Dundee city centre to highlight their concerns.
