Youth drinking crackdown hailed
Police say they caught a shopkeeper selling alcohol to under-18s and seized drink from youths during a crackdown in the Clackmannanshire area.

The operation in Tillicoultry saw the recovery of more than 70 cans of lager, as well as spirits, from boys aged 16 and under.

Central Scotland Police urged parents to keep a close eye on their children.

Supt Gavin Buist said: "Police are relentless in their efforts to target under-age tipplers in the community."
