Teens caught in drinking campaign
An operation targeting underage drinkers in the towns of Annan, Gretna and Langholm found some children as young as 13 in possession of alcohol.

Operation Bogey 3 has seen police officers across the Lower Annandale area targeting specific locations.

Insp Alan Glendinning assured local councillors that concerns about underage drinking were being addressed.

He also stressed the need for vigilance at off-sales where over-18s might be supplying drink to those underage.
