Campaigners attempting to save closure-threatened Coldstream cottage hospital are taking their 2,000 signature petition to Holyrood. They argue that the town's medical facility is an essential part of the community.
Campaigners want the health minister to overrule NHS Borders' decision to close it as part of a �12m revamp of services across the area.
MSPs will consider their plea during a committee visit to Jedburgh on 26 June.
The cottage hospital in Jedburgh also faces closure under the plans.
