Woman killed in snow crash named

Shetland fatal scene
The fatal crash happened on Wednesday morning

A woman killed in a crash in winter weather on Shetland has been named by police as a retired teacher from Flintshire.

Passenger Patricia O'Sullivan, 71, of Buckley, died after the crash on Wednesday morning.

The emergency services were alerted to the B9071 crash, two miles from Sand, at about 1040 GMT.

Two people in the car were airlifted to Lerwick by Coastguard helicopter for hospital treatment.
