Probe after man loses part of arm

The serious accident happened at Inverurie Paper Mill

An inquiry has been launched after a worker at Inverurie Paper Mill lost part of his arm in an accident.

The emergency services were alerted after the alarm was raised by colleagues at the paper mill.

The Scottish Ambulance Service said a man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after reportedly being trapped in a machine.

Grampian Police said the incident, on Tuesday afternoon, was in the hands of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
