'Tough' council budget expected
Bank notes
The authority meets to agree its finances on Thursday
The Labour group on Aberdeen City Council is taking the unusual step of not proposing an alternative budget.

The authority meets to agree its finances for the year on Thursday.

Labour councillors said they did not believe it was appropriate to propose a budget this year, but they will oppose plans for a freeze on council tax.

The ruling Lib Dem and SNP coalition said tough decisions have to be made, and accused the main opposition of having no alternative policies.
