Accident plane back in service
The aircraft at Aberdeen Airport
The plane overshot the runway but is now back in service
An aircraft involved in an accident at Aberdeen Airport has returned to service after being passed safe by inspectors.

The Dornier 328 plane with 19 people on board ran off the runway after landing at the airport from Stavanger.

Operators City Star said the plane was cleared by the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration and re-entered service.

A UK inquiry by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) into the incident on 22 June continues.

There were 16 passengers and three crew on board when the accident happened.
